Edtech startup eSchools launches freemium model

UK Edtech firm eSchools has launched a freemium model as it looks to expand its reach in Europe, North America and Australia.

With over 1,000 UK schools signed up to the premium platform since launch in 2011, the international expansion is aimed at challenging the likes of Schoology, Canvas and Blackboard.

eSchools founder Peter Dabrowa said:

“Since our launch, educators internationally have reached out to us to embed our platform within their school and really appreciate the approach we have taken to combine their online systems under one roof.

“Now with our freemium platform and a physical presence in their home countries, we’re better suited to fulfil their needs than ever before.”
