UKTN started life as Tech City News back in 2012, when the UK’s nascent tech industry was heavily concentrated in the Silicon Roundabout cluster in East London. Since then, the tech ecosystem has grown significantly across all corners of the UK. Our editorial focus has evolved to reflect this change and, in 2017, we rebranded to UKTN.

Our mission is to keep the UK tech ecosystem informed with coverage that provides actionable insights, fairly holds the industry to account, and champions the innovation taking place across the nations and regions.
