Endeavor Ireland, a non-profit supporting tech entrepreneur growth, has announced the cohort for its second Northern Ireland scaleup programme.
Based in Dublin and Belfast, Endeavor runs various networking and development programmes for “high impact” companies.
The Northern Ireland scaleup programme is a five-month project that will include mentorship sessions tailored to the participants, with the first being held at KPMG’s Belfast office.
The cohort of Northern Irish founders includes Ryan Donnelly, co-founder of AI governance platform Enzai; Mark Dowds, founder of RESPONSIBLE, a platform for fashion brands to buy back previously worn items; and Roger Johnston of Axial3D, which provides hospitals with 3D printing solutions for medical images.
Endeavor Ireland managing director Rory Guinan said the group has always been keen to include Northern Ireland in its tech development programmes, but up until now no founders from the region have advanced through its schemes.
“That’s why we chose to focus on founders in this area as part of our second scaleup programme,” Guinan said.
“We had a great response to the call for applications and have been blown away by the founders selected for this programme.
“We’re very excited to get started with them. This programme will provide them with mentorship and advice to help create a lasting impact for their companies and for their communities.”
Endeavor Ireland launched its first scaleup programme last year with a focus on women entrepreneurs. Endeavor was founded 26 years ago in Latin America, with the Irish office opening in 2019. It is now supporting entrepreneurs in 42 markets globally.
