It’s all too easy to get to the end of a hard day’s work, look at your to-do list and think ‘where on earth did the time go?’ You end up leaving for the day disappointed that you haven’t achieved as much as you set out to, or worse, you stay late to get the job done. It could, of course, be because something unexpected came up, but often it’s because the way we work isn’t working – and this lack of productivity is simply a result of poor and outdated work habits, which we instinctively know aren’t good for us.
Time is precious and all of us want to make sure we make it count – we want to spend our time on the things that make a difference and have an impact, which fill us with meaning and purpose (whether at work or in our personal lives), and leave us with the room and headspace for all the other things that are important to us – whether that’s family, friends, health and fitness, or other commitments and projects....
