Review platform Trustpilot has appointed Adrian Blair as its new CEO, replacing company founder Peter Holten Mühlmann, who served 16 years in the role.
Blair will take the helm of the London-listed review platform on 13 September this year, the company announced on Monday.
“I have admired Trustpilot for many years, with immense respect for what Peter and the team have achieved,” said Blair.
“There is an even more exciting opportunity ahead as trust and transparency become ever more important for businesses and consumers around the world.”
Blair has held a handful of tech executive positions, having served as the global chief operating officer of Just Eat for seven years from 2011 to 2018.
More recently, Blair was the CEO of accounting automation software firm Dext from 2019 to 2022, and chief business officer of digital healthcare at home platform Cera, which raised £263m last year.
“We are delighted to be able to announce Adrian as chief executive officer. One of the things that makes Trustpilot distinct is its purpose and culture, and I have no doubt that he will be a success in supporting this while taking the business forward,” said Zillah Byng-Thorne, chair of the Trustpilot board.
“We believe he has a unique range of experiences which made him the standout candidate for the role — from working with founder-led businesses through to helping lead Just Eat into the FTSE 100.”
It was first announced that Mühlmann would step down as CEO of Trustpilot in March.
Mühlmann said Blair was the “right individual to lead Trustpilot through the next phase of its growth. He also described building Trustpilot as the “greatest professional accomplishment of my life”.
