Proptech company AltoVita, used by the likes of Google for corporate housing relocation, has raised $9.5m (£7.6m) in a Series A funding round.
Founded in 2018 by Vivi Cahyadi Himmel and Karolina Saviova, AltoVita’s online platform aims to simplify relocation for employees at startups up to large corporates.
It operates in 1,553 cities in 165 countries, providing access to more than one million housing choices. Novum Capital Partners and Fifth Wall co-led AltoVita’s oversubscribed Series A round, which the proptech will use to increase its list of properties to 2.5 million before the end of next year.
Vivi Cahyadi Himmel, CEO and co-founder, AltoVita, said: “This fundraise will go a long way as we continue building a technology powerhouse that enables us to attract high calibre talent in tech and product as well as hospitality growth, business development and customer success.”
The proptech firm is headquartered in London but has additional locations in Singapore and Dallas, Texas.
Miguel Nigorra, partner and head of the Europe team at Fifth Wall, said: “As the traditional office returns in 2023, with a significant rebound in business travel, Vivi, Karolina and their talented team at AltoVita are delivering an unmatched global travel solution that realigns employees lifestyles with corporate accommodation.”
