While nothing in life is guaranteed, the prevailing sentiment for job hunters in tech is that new UK tech jobs are being hired for more mindfully.
Without easy access to VC funding, we’ve seen a swathe of layoffs, but also a renewed focus on strategic key hires.
Organisations that are hiring for 2024 include those with a B2B focus, R&D departments – particularly those specialising in automation and machine learning, and roles that are cloud-centric.
There is a great variety in terms of location at the moment too, with a plethora of new UK tech jobs available outside the London bubble, and many with hybrid or remote working options too.
