What would you do with $10,000?
Freelance booking site Elance has today launched a global competition for start-ups with over $100,000 worth of prizes – all you need to do is tell them your Big Idea.
How it works
Judges will then select five UK startups in early January who will each receive $2,500 in Elance credit to build their idea using online freelancers.
They’ll have 3 weeks to get it done before pitching in a regional semi-final at Google Campus on January 30th. Prizes from Oxygen Accelerator and Rackspace are also up for grabs.
Eight finalists from across the globe will then compete in the online Global Final for the Grand Prize of $10,000 credit and the chance to pitch their startup to VCs.
