The Wall Street Journal’s pop-up Tech Cafe opens its doors tomorrow for a two days offering fireside chats on issues affecting the tech industry.
Held at the Rotary Bar & Diner, the pop-up Tech Cafe offers panel discussions and events aimed at tech entrepreneurs, developers and venture capitalists.
It’s the second year the event has come to London and will be hosted by Wall Street Journal Editors including technology editor Ben Rooney.
Discussions include the impact technology has on democracy and emerging music models with speakers from Deezer, Songkick and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason.
Clacton-on Sea MP, Douglas Carswell will also talk about on digital thinking in politics.
The first ever pop-up Tech Café was held at The Book Club in London last September and the concept has gone global with events in Berlin, New York and even South Korea.
It was held over three days and included speakers from Google, Facebook and Telefónica.
