Are your peripherals cramping your MacBook’s style?
MacDock provide a stylish solution to desktop clutter and unsightly cables with their so-called “Apple-design worthy” peripherals hub.
Made from aerospace grade aluminium, the MacDock comes in the very same silver and black slate colours used in the current Macbook, and is designed to feel like an extension to your laptop.
Created by London-based Jan Sapper, Macdock have brought in Pidso, a Vienna-based company with experience of working with Siemens and BMW for technical development.
Ideal for graphic designers and those with a lot of external hardware, the MacDock is sleek and compact with a minimalist design, and looks to be one of the more elegant MacBook docks on the market.

Future support for newer Mac models
Compatible with all Macbooks from 2009, MacDock comes in two sizes, MacDock Mini and MacDock Pro, and if funding is secured, MacDock promise to build a model that’s compatible with the new Retina and Macbook Air models.
Connect USB and Mini displayport to your Mac
With the MacDock mini, you can connect one USB and one mini displayport, but the MacDock Pro offers more including support for monitors, audio jacks, three USB ports and an iPad charger.
If funding is secured, the MacDock will ship in October, and backers who pledge £37 will get their hands on the Mini model, while those who pledge £57 will get the far superior Pro model.
They’re asking for £30k, but for those who love their peripherals and are into sleek design, it could be a worthy investment.
