UK events marketing platform Evvnt acquires Eventviva

UK MarTech firm Evvnt has acquired event discovery and ticketing platform Eventviva for an undisclosed sum.

Based in London, Evvnt is a marketing platform which enables its users to submit their event once, then see it distributed via listings, media publishers, search engines, mobile numbers, email addresses and social media sites.

The acquisition is part of Evvnts’ plans for global expansion as the company focuses on reaching a worldwide audience of event organisers.

“We worked with Eventviva for a number of years and noted it was a popular site for event organisers to post event listings to,” commented Richard Green, CEO and founder at Evvnt.

“We’re excited to acquire the assets to support our mission to educate event organisers on our single submission event marketing technology on a global scale.”

Eventviva was founded in 2012 and prior to its acquisition listed over 3.8 million events, helping users to find local events in their city as well over 1,000 cities worldwide. Following the acquisition, Evvnt now has access to Eventviva’s database of 200,000+ event promoters.

Hardik Pandya, co-founder of Eventviva, commented: “Both event organisers and attendees will benefit from this acquisition as they become part of Evvnt.”
