UK cloud tech provider NewVoiceMedia nets $30m in funding

Cloud technology provider NewVoiceMedia has scored $30m in a Series F funding round.

Existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Eden Ventures, Highland Capital Partners Europe, Salesforce Ventures and Technology Crossover Ventures participated in the round, which also attracted support from BGF Ventures.

Jonathan Gale, CEO of NewVoiceMedia, said: “In our last financial year, we grew our international new business by more than 500%, and with our world-class technology and relentless commitment driving innovation, market position and momentum, coupled with a multi-billion dollar opportunity, we look forward to continuing our impressive growth trajectory while helping our global customer base grow their businesses with improved efficiency and greater customer advocacy.”

The company, headquartered in Basingstoke, says it will use the newly secured funds to expand to North America and to continue developing its platform.

Rory Stirling, partner at BGF Ventures, commented on his firm’s involvement, saying: “At BGF Ventures we look to back UK companies that have the ambition and potential to be global technology leaders; we believe NewVoiceMedia will be one of the most successful software companies to emerge from Europe this decade. ”

According to Crunchbase, the new raise brings the company’s cumulative funding to $141.3m.
