TheJobPost secures £250k from Innovate UK

TheJobPost has received a further funding award of £250k from the UK’s innovation agency, Innovate UK.

The recruitment agency marketplace works on a crowdsourcing model to match employers who have job vacancies with relevant recruitment agencies.

TheJobPost used its initial Innovate UK award to develop its matching algorithm.

Ken Brotherston, chairman of TheJobPost, said: “Our original ‘proof of concept’ project has shown incredible initial results with the time taken for employers to identify and engage with relevant recruiters reducing from days and weeks to hours and minutes.

“In a growing market that has over 19,500 recruitment agencies operating in the UK, 75% of which employ less than 10 people, this offers a significant benefit for both employers and recruiters.

“The further Innovate UK funding will now enable us to scale our offering significantly.”

Marc Williams, TheJobPost’s COO and head of product development, added: “We’re delighted to get this further recogni9on for our technology platform that we believe will truly make engaging with specialist recruiters far more efficient than any other process.

“To be able to give employers real-time insight into relevant recruiters is a real game changer.

“Additionally, our ability to integrate our recruiter matcher capability into employer Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) removing the manual work to generate the best matches is really special.”
