The Spanish marketplace matching startups with mobile devs Yeeply will be opening its doors in London next week.
The company raised a $280,000 seed round in July and is using the proceeds to set up a London office at Google Campus’ TechHub.
Yeeply was recently used to help Spain’s La Liga builds its official fantasy football app.
Fernando Ballester, UK country manager UK, told Tech City News: “Yeeply is already well-established in Spanish and Latin America markets, along with France. We believe that our company is now mature enough to impress London startups and larger brands thanks to the products we’ve released in last two and a half years.
“Strategically, London is one of the top European hubs (if not The One) and above all is the best bridge from Europe towards the US market, so we expect to grow our business by establishing strategic relations with startups and companies needing cloud and mobile app development services.
“Our best asset is Yeeply’s community of over 8,000 freelancers and development studios, from where we select curated teams to fulfill mobile app projects of any kind.
“As part of a local startup ecosystem here in Valencia, Yeeply understands the value of being part of the entrepreneur community. We’ve organized several Startup Weekend events and other tech meetings and we aim to connect with London’s startup scene and contribute to make it better.”
