Vastly increase your chances of being accused of harassment in the workplace with the novelty Christmas gift Belt Mistletoe
Just in case your office Christmas party wasn’t quite awkward enough for you, product-designer and self-help author Shed Simove is launching Belt Mistletoe, a novelty Christmas gift for office pranksters, on Kickstarter today.
Belt Mistletoe is exactly what it says on the tin: a clip-on plastic version of the real thing that is sure to elicit nervous laughter after a glass or two of cheap wine at office Christmas parties the world over.

Rewards
Shed Simove, self-proclaimed comedian and corporate speaker, is throwing in a host of rewards for pledging support.
Incentives include his motivational book, Success or your Money Back, gag Christmas cards designed by himself and banknotes of a fictitious currency aptly named ‘EGO’, bearing his name and likeness.
Simove is quite the prankster, having made it into the tabloids a handful of times for quite curious reasons, including posing as a teenager to go back to school for a Channel 4 documentary and changing his name to ‘God’.
Office Prankster
Shed – short for Sheridan – is launching his campaign now so that his first run of Belt Mistletoe is ready for Christmas.
As he’s only asking for £5,000 he’ll likely secure funding, but given the backlash against sexism in the tech scene this year, this childish gimmick with misogynistic undertones might not be a hit in Tech City.
I can picture it now. A half-tipsy middle-management boss making his way across the office: Santa hat askew, plastic cup in hand, grim smirk on his face, and a Belt Mistletoe fastened in place.
Merry Christmas.
