KPMG and UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) are offering the opportunity for four mobile startups to showcase at 4YFN (4 Years From Now) at Mobile World Congress 2016 in Spain.
The competition will see successful applicants invited to pitch their business to a panel of judges in Reading, Manchester and London before the final four startups are selected to fly to Barcelona for 4YFN at Mobile World Congress next February.
“This really is the chance of a lifetime for four British mobile startups,” said Patrick Imbach, head of KPMG’s high growth technology group.
“We are looking for innovative businesses who can showcase the best of what the UK has to offer in disruptive mobile technology.
“For the finalists this opportunity to get in front of the key players in the mobile industry could be invaluable to their growth ambitions and will open doors that can be difficult for a small enterprise to achieve on their own.
“We are expecting a great response to this competition.”
Last year the Mobile World Congress attracted over 94,000 attendees, thousands of which were C level leaders of their businesses. Featuring 140 guest speakers and more than 3,500 press and industry analysts, CEO guest speakers from PayPal, UNICEF and Hointer have already been confirmed.
For anyone interested, applications are now open at www.kpmgtechgrowth.co.uk/kpmgmwc16 and will close on 10 December.
Good luck!
