Missing Something is a web sitcom for the 21st century, so accordingly certain subplots extend beyond the episodes themselves into social media, microsites and other videos, allowing the viewer to dig deeper and receive insights into the twists and turns of the series.
Film maker Yaz Al-Shaater is trying to raise £7,500 on Kickstarter to make the series, and pledging anything over a fiver will get you voting rights as to where the plot will go.
Other rewards include exclusive artwork, backers’ T-shirts and even an executive producer’s credit if you’re feeling generous.
If you’re in a post-ironic mood, head over to their campaign page for the chance to laugh at some hipsters making a series about hipsters laughing at other hipsters.
