UK’s Zesty raises $7.2m

Healthcare appointment booking platform Zesty has raised a $7.2m Series A funding round led by Innovation Capital.

They were joined in the round by Qualcomm Ventures and Maya Capital, plus existing investors Mangrove Capital Partners, TA Ventures and ABRT.

The London-based startup, which offers services including dental, GP and more specialist health bookings, will use the cash to expand in and outside of London, and grow its business across the rest of Europe.

The company launched back in May 2013 and has more than 3,500 healthcare providers offering their services. As well as offering a one-stop-shop for people looking for appointments, clients can use Zesty’s APIs to integrate bookings into their existing infrastructure.
