Pact coffee raises £2m to double product team

Pact Coffee, a London-based coffee startup, has raised a £2m Series A funding round led by MMC Ventures.

Pact is a well-known brand across co-working spaces and startups across Britain.

Their subscription-based service aims to offer the freshest coffee possible by cutting down the time from roasting to delivering to your door.

MMC Ventures investment sees them join existing angel investors including Songkick’s Ian Hogarth, Index Ventures’ Robin Klein and Naked Wines’ Rowan Gormley.

Expanding product team

After launching in 2012, Pact now employs 32 people. This latest investment will be used to expand their product team as the service continues to scale up.
