MarTech startup Driftrock raises $1m

London-based marketing technology startup Driftrock has raised $1m in funding.

The ‘lifecycle’ social advert management platform enables brands to find their audience online, using web data to deliver better targeted ads to the right people at the right time.

Investors include Huddle co-founder and SoftTech partner Andy McLoughlin; Nick Hynes, CEO of Somo and Neil Hutchinson, founder of Forward Internet Group.

Driftrock says it will use the investment to further develop its technology platform, expanding into new marketing channels like Twitter and LinkedIn. The funds will also allow the firm to deepen first party data integrations with CRM partners.

Matt Wheeler, CEO and Founder at Driftrock, commented: “Last year was game changing for digital marketing; Google released Customer Match, a similar native audience product to Facebook Custom Audiences, meaning that it’s now possible to reach people with useful, relevant messages everywhere they hang out.”

This news comes after the $1m seed round raised by Driftrock 2014.
