Bink, a loyalty card app, has raised a £2m Seed from undisclosed Angel investors. This brings the Ascot-based firm’s total raised to over £10m.
The MarTech startup enables customers to collect loyalty points, offers or discounts when they make purchases with the payment card they have linked to the Bink app.
Bink also provides retailers with customer insights and personalised offers through its digital marketing platform.
Greg Gormley, co-founder of Bink, commented: “Following our successful consumer launch, this funding puts us in a fantastic position to accelerate our growth, bringing a brand new concept to the market.”
The firm says it will use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations in the UK and beyond. It also plans to invest further in B2B marketing and sales staff.
“We think we can shake up a huge, established industry in need of a technology boost. We’ve been working hard to build the best technology in the payments industry as well as a strong team and are now showing traction among consumers and retailers alike,” added Gormley.
