Facebook video selling platform Screenburn raises $500,000

Facebook video-on-demand platform Screenburn has raised $500,000 in angel investment.

Screenburn enables the sale of video content from a Facebook page, and has already seen success with films from Paul McCartney and The Rolling Stones.

The round was led by Andrew Weisz of Lean Investments LP.

Releasing potential

Screenburn founder Tom Raffe says the service is about getting value from what’s already there.

Content owners may already have thousands or even millions of fans on Facebook – our app lets you monetise this existing audience.

The startup has also revealed new board appointments including Zodiak Rights Chief Executive Steve Macallister and Arts Alliance Media CEO Howard Kiedaisch.
