EXCLUSIVE: Recruitment tech startup JamieAi raises £1m

Jamieai

Recruitment tech startup JamieAi has raised £1m from Adrian Ezra, founder and CEO of ExecuZen.

JamieAi has built a platform to allow individuals from the worlds of data science and AI to be matched with relevant career opportunities.

The startup is launching in the UK and Ireland today.

Will Capper, CEO of JamieAi, spoke about the news: “JamieAi is focused on the future of recruitment, creating a dedicated platform that grows and develops alongside talent throughout their career.

“By building trust within a community, employers will benefit from being able to reach perfectly matched active and passive talent in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.”

JamieAi says it is already working with clients including Booking.com, McLaren Applied Technologies, Onfido, The University of Leicester and Sainsburys Bank.

Ezra explained why he decided to invest in the company: “Having led a global executive search business for over 17 years, I can see how the contingent recruitment industry – which tend to be roles with salaries under £150,000 – has evolved to a point where disruption is now sorely needed from both a technological and pricing perspective.

“With a background in both tech and recruitment, JamieAi’s founders are well placed to lead this change across a range of industries for the benefit of both talent and employers.”
