Photo-sharing service Lifecake raises $1.1m

Lifecake, a platform for privately sharing photos and videos with your family, has raised $1.1 million (£700,000) in a seed funding round led by Balderton Capital.

Lifecake creates a personalised, secure, ad-free space for families to share photos and videos.

The content is displayed in a timeline with the most engaging moments highlighted – users can then view content and leave comments via computers, tablets or smartphones.
