Tech City UK has announced the names of the 26 new technology companies joining its Future Fifty programme.
Interestingly, 31% of this year’s cohort are based outside of London and 15% have a female founder or co-founder.
As a result of joining the programme, the businesses will gain access to a network of industry experts, classes and workshops to in a bid to grow their profile within the technology sector.
Collectively, this year’s cohort have raised $730m in funding from investors.
The companies are as follows:

FinTech: LendInvest, OakNorth, Checkout.com, Ixaris
Digital Advertising and Marketing: Captify, Infectious Media
Enterprise Software: Paddle, CloudSense
SaaS: BigChange, UKCloud, Biosite Systems, Click Travel, Masabi, Egress Software Technologies, EDITED
EdTech: Firefly
App and Software Development: Featurespace, Memrise
E-commerce and Marketplace: SIMBA, Trouva, MPB Group, SportPursuit
Speaking about the announcement, Parveen Dhanda, programme lead for Future Fifty at Tech City UK, said: “This year’s cohort includes some of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies and we can’t wait to begin working with them.”
Stan Laurent, partner at Highland Europe and Future Fifty judge, went on to comment on the overall selection of businesses.

The new firms will be joining the likes of Azimo, Bloom and Wild, Carwow, ClearScore and Ebury.
