Vicky Fuller is the co-founder of Swoperz, a subscription-based preloved kids’ clothing platform.
Fuller co-founded Swoperz with Charlene Hurlock in February 2021. The pair were inspired to create Swoperz during lockdown when their children began swapping clothes.
The platform lets children aged 6 to 16 swap preloved clothing. They pay a monthly subscription fee to swap unlimited items of clothing. Children can exchange preloved school uniforms for free.
Kids manage their own accounts, with the startup saying Swoperz is “run by kids and managed by grownups”.
The company raised £250,000 in SEIS funding in March 2023 and launched in October of that year.
In this week’s Founder in Five Q&A, Fuller shares tips for motivating a remote development team, gives advice for first-founders and explains why it’s healthy to have time apart from your co-founder....
