Londoners may have already clocked Pedal Me on the capital’s congested streets. The bike taxi service, which uses a familiar app format to allow customers to hail a ride and automatically pay for their journey, was founded on 1st February 2017. In the eight months since then, the business has witnessed a strong appetite for its fast and environmentally friendly way of traversing the city, not just among passengers but also potential riders and investors, too.
Now, as Uber’s future in London remains in doubt, Knowles’ business finds itself well positioned to offer a viable alternative in a market that has attracted its fair amount of negative press. UKTN spoke with the Pedal Me founder to understand more about his startup, its journey so far, and the bumpy road he is attempting to navigate....
