FinTech event Money 20/20 Europe just around the corner

Over 3,000 delegates – including more than 1,000 CEOs, from 1,000 companies and 75 countries – will be heading to Copenhagen next week for Money20/20 Europe.

The event, which focuses on the payments and the financial services ecosystem, is being held at the Bella Center on 4th – 7th April.

With over 400 speakers, and considered one of the largest FinTech events in the world, participants will include representatives from the banking, payments and VC sectors.

Spread over four days, themes explored will include alternative financing and lending; commerce disruption; mobile payments; security and fraud; biometrics; cryptocurrencies and ledgers; and entrepreneurship and innovation.

Day one of the event will feature keynote sessions from the likes of Ann Cairns, president of international markets at MasterCard; Patrick Gauthier, VP of external payments at Amazon; and Nicolas Huss, CEO of Visa Europe.

Sessions at the conference include ‘Biometric identity and its applications in financial services and payments’, ‘Big Data for small businesses: The key to unlock a trillion dollar market?’, and ‘FinTech 3.0: Areas of growth and opportunity’.

There will also be numerous product launches and company announcements at the event, plus frequent networking sessions.
