We’ve all seen commercials from Apple, Microsoft, Google, and other big tech players that feature a diverse cast with different jobs using smartphones, PCs, or other new gadgets.
Well, thanks to College Humor, we can now see how all of these tired tropes are used in a single video. The clip perfectly shows how predictable and nonsensical some of those advertisements can be.
Some key tropes? Jump cuts, indie rock songs, young creative professionals, words taken out of context, emotional moments, soldiers, cute children, and logos without text.
