Cybersecurity firm Bullguard acquires Israel-based Dojo Labs

UK cybersecurity firm Bullguard has acquired Israel-based startup Dojo-Labs for an undisclosed sum.

Based in London, Bullguard is a consumer security company which offers clients web-based identity and social media protection.

Yossi Atias, co-founder of Dojo-Labs, saod: “I am delighted to be combining forces with BullGuard at this pivotal juncture in the evolution of our industry.”

Dojo-Labs, which launched in November 2015, provides consumer security and privacy for Internet of Things devices in a connected home. The acquisition is part of Bullguard’s plans to expand its collection of security products to the Internet of Things.

Paul Lipman, CEO at BullGuard, commented: “More than 4 billion consumer devices are connected to the internet today, and this number is growing exponentially. Until now, the security and privacy of these devices has been essentially non-existent, leaving our most precious data and possessions exposed.

“With the acquisition of Dojo Labs we look forward to delivering the highest level of protection to our customers across their entire connected lives,” he concluded.
