Canary Wharf Group has opened applications for two more of its Cognicity accelerator programmes.
Launched in October, the programmes focus on smart city technologies that can make cities more efficient.
Startups can now apply for the ‘integrated resource management’ and ‘automated building management’ challenges.

Technologies developed on the scheme could range from personalised climate control or smarter lifts and escalators for high rise blocks.
Companies that are accepted onto the Cognicity accelerator will get mentoring, support and a £50,000 prize to help their businesses get going. They will also receive office space in Level39.
Applications were already open for the programme’s first two strands, buildings and transportation, both of which will start in early 2015.
Startups have until November 30th to apply for sustainable buildings and integrated transportation, and December 19th for integrated resource management and automated building management.
