Big names

This year the Special Award went to businesswoman and philanthropist Dame Stephanie “Steve” Shirley (pictured right, centre).
Cracking the code
Code Club CEO and Co-Founder Clare Sutcliffe said:
We’re absolutely delighted to have won this award – it’s taken us beyond all our expectations.
Being associated with organisations as amazing as the other entrants is great for us, and we’re thrilled to be part of Technology4Good.
Clare (above, centre) was among those grilled by Mariella ahead of the Winner of Winners award.
This final award was decided by the audience in a rather unique way.
Light Fantastic
Audience members were each given a glowstick and asked to vote for each candidate by waving it towards the stage.
Light sensory equipment detected how energetic the movement was and displayed a score for each entry onscreen.
The Technology4Good awards were created by AbilityNet and organised with BT.
