Boris Johnson, Rohan Silva and more to headline at InnoTech Summit

The Mayor of London will host his first ever Google Hangout with top tech executives in London and Silicon Valley live at the 2013 Innotech Summit

Keynote speeches also include Rohan Silva, Senior Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister, and Edmund Truell, Pension Fund Manager, will address the event’s theme of ‘how to make London a more IPO applicable market’.
The InnoTech Summit, which will be held at Level39 on the 26th April this year, aims to ‘connect the dots’ between entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers to help grow and support tech start ups in the UK. Tech City News is proud to be a media partner at this years event.

Policy panel debate

The event’s policy panel, with Marcus Stuttard of the London Stock Exchange, Simon Clark of Fidelity Partners and David White, Founder of Import.io, will discuss the current disconnects between government, businesses and the financial sector, and the potential for a more harmonious and advantageous trading environment moving forward.

London’s game changers

Complementing the event’s policy line-up is a showcase of ‘game changing’ tech startups all with the potential to grow in the London tech market.

This includes bird strikes technology firm, Volacom, and animators, Epipheo. An ‘extreme data’ panel will discuss the applications of data and how it is the ‘new oil’ – the dawn of a new fuel that will make business information indispensable to organisations.
