TCN_25Nov_Awards

The application process for the Tech City News Elevator Pitch 2016 competition is now open! This is the sixth series of our competition to find the nation’s top tech startups.

Finalists in previous Elevator Pitch series include Hassle.com, YPlan and import.io, with alumni raising over $60m in the past two years alone.

Throughout the rounds of the Elevator Pitch, participants will learn how to promote their company in the most concise and effective way. They have the opportunity to present to our panel of judges, with the finalists gaining extensive coverage on Tech City News.

Finalists will have their pitch professionally filmed, giving them a useful PR tool to share with journalists, customers and potential investors. See 2015 finalist Rotageek’s pitch video for an example.

In previous series, the final round of the competition has seen startups pitch from a glass elevator in Heron Tower, the back of a speed boat, the top of a skyscraper, the back of a Hailo cab and on a rickshaw.

The finalists will all be invited to attend an awards ceremony, where they’ll be in with the chance of winning a number of accolades, including Most Disruptive Startup, Pitch of the Year and Fastest Growing Startup.

To apply, just fill out the form we link to below. The closing date for applications is Thursday 31st March.
