AdTech startup PowerLinks closes Series A to crack the US

AdTech startup PowerLinks has closed a £4.58m Series A.

The round was led by Foresight Group and drew support from Angel investors and PowerLink’s management team.

PowerLinks has created a software platform which automates the buying and selling of native advertising.

The money will be used to boost the company’s expansion in the US, as it looks to hire across its sales, client services and technology teams.

PowerLinks recently expanded in Amsterdam and Berlin.

Kevin Flood, CEO of PowerLinks, commented on the deal: “PowerLinks is poised to drive exponential growth for our customers, by meeting the challenge of automating relevant, personalized advertising to busy consumers who are overwhelmed with choice. This investment will accelerate our expansion and innovation plans.

“We are delighted to have Foresight’s backing and shared vision. The Foresight team, together with the recent appointments of Alex and Mickey, will inject a wealth of experience in scaling transformative digital businesses.”

John Cordrey, investment manager at Foresight Group, said PowerLinks represented an opportunity to back a high-growth business, “operating in an exciting segment of the fast growing AdTech sector, with a strong management team and well invested platform”.

“Powerlinks has delivered exceptional growth and built fantastic client relationships. We welcome Alex and Mickey, whose sector experience will ensure we continue to provide the best quality of service to our existing, and growing roster customers,” he concluded.
