Some 46 UK-based tech firms have made Bloomberg’s inaugural list of companies disrupting the way people think, live and work.
Bloomberg’s Business Innovator list for this year featured a varied range of tech companies including online due diligence tool Duedil and artificial intelligence music composition technology platform Jukedeck.
Nate Lanxon, head of European technology editorial at Bloomberg, said: “The UK is a global powerhouse of innovation and growth. With such a wealth of talent and drive, we wanted to curate a network among the business leaders who epitomise the vibrancy and diversity of the UK business scene.
“Each of these businesses are, in their unique way, transforming industries, our lifestyle, our ways of thinking, the environment and the future for the better. We look forward to seeing what they will accomplish in 2016,” Lanxon concluded.
The judging panel — which included former Tech North head Claire Braithwaite and Entiq managing editor Eric van der Kleij — consisted of individuals from the finance, technology, social enterprise sectors.
