Cleaner booking site Hassle among winners at the Elevator Pitch Awards

Hassle, the booking site for household cleaners, has been named Startup of the Year at the Tech City News Elevator Pitch Awards.

The prize, voted for by Tech City News readers, was presented by Meg Hillier MP at an awards dinner at the Eight Club Moorgate.

Hassle in the lead

In a public vote we asked our audience to decide which startup had been the most impressive in 2013.

Thousands of people watched the 25 Elevator Pitch videos on our gallery page and voted for their favourite startup online.

Hassle received 15% of the vote, closely followed by Dattch, who won our Pitch of the Year award, for Robyn Exton’s now infamous ‘the app that helps you find Eve not Steve’ line.
