Applications are now open for one of Europe’s largest startup competitions!
Pitch 2014 will be held at Web Summit Dublin in November and will see 200 startups from around the world pitch for the chance to win a cash prize.
The competition is open to any startup that has received under $3m in funding to date and has not had a discernible change in business model in the previous 3 years.
High quality startups
The Summit Dublin’s founder Paddy Cosgrave expects Pitch “to be bigger and of a higher quality than ever”.
They have not announced the cash sum amount, but it is expected to be in line with the $100,000 prize from last year.
The prize will also be made up of “experience prizes” from Coca-Cola who have sponsored this year’s event.
Previous winners of the competition include import.io and SmartThings, the latter of whom were recently acquired by Samsung for $200m.
