Next round
The next round will give 25 of the startups the chance to pitch in front of a panel of experts and get one-to-one feedback about both their pitch and startups.
Previous judges have included Eze Vidra from Google for Entrepreneurs, Eric van der Kleij of Level39, and CEO of Tech City UK Gerard Grech.
20 will be chosen on the strength of their pitches and the final 5 will be selected by public vote.
Keep an eye out for the public vote starting very soon!
Exciting startups
A range of different startups were on show in the first round including an incubator based on a London bus.
AudioWings, the People’s Choice Award from Richard Branson’s Pitch 2 Rich competition, also pitched their internet enabled headphones.
Startups from a number of London’s coworking spaces, incubators and accelerators were on hand – Wayra, Techstars, Rainmaking Loft, Level39, Campus, among others.
The fourth series of the Elevator Pitch is sponsored by JLL, Fried Frank, and KPMG.
