Sharing Economy UK and Balderton Capital are inviting distributed network startups to pitch their business ideas in front of leading venture capital firms.
Get pitch practice and exposure in front of judges from Balderton, Index, Connect Ventures and the Business Growth Fund, which is backed by Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, RBS and Standard Chartered.
The event will be hosted by two of London’s most successful sharing economy leaders, both women, that’s cleaning app Hassle.com‘s CEO Alex Depledge and Love Home Swap CEO Debbie Wosskow.
Wosskow said: “This is the first pitch event Sharing Economy UK has run and we’re looking forward to meeting the entrepreneurs behind some of the most fresh and exciting sharing economy ideas out there.
“Since launching earlier this year, SEUK has worked hard to promote the benefits of sharing, and this is the ideal opportunity to really explore some new possibilities.”
Enter your sharing economy startup before 12pm on 20 October to be in with a shot of pitching to some of the UK’s top venture funders.
The event will take place on Wednesday 28 October from 6pm to 9pm at Balderton Capital’s offices in King Cross.
The voluntarily-run trade body SEUK was founded in March 2015 following a government-commissioned review delivered by Debbie Wosskow that looked into the end of ownership across goods, skills, services, capital and spaces.
