Meet the Cybersecurity startups pitching at Elevator Pitch LIVE 2017

EP live

This year’s Elevator Pitch LIVE competition is just days away (get your tickets ), so we thought we’d tell you a little bit more about the exciting Cybersecurity startups pitching on the day.

The competition – our annual quest to find the top rising stars in UK technology – is sponsored by Kreston ReevesCisco, Stirling Ackroyd, EY and Digital Radish and will see 15 shortlisted startups pitch to a room full of entrepreneurs, investors and industry heavyweights.

Here are the top three UK Cybersecurity startups pitching on the day:

Fortitude

This London-based company is developing Cognition, the ‘first’ real-time, integrated intelligence offering for cyber defence.

Founded in April 2014, the self-funded startup remained dormant until very recently and signed up its first Cognition paying client in June.

A month later, in July, Fortitude came out of stealth mode and claims to have reached £500,000 in revenue in August.

Anon AI

Automatic data anonymisation using AI. That’s how the startup, co-founded by experienced software entrepreneurs in collaboration with a machine learning researcher from University College London, describes itself.

Anon AI is backed by CyLon and Post UrbanVentures, a Midlands-based startup incubator.

Citizen

Citizen is a platform for password-less login, one touch identity exchange and account verification.

The company, born out of a vision for a safer, legitimate internet, provides SDKs and mobile apps for businesses to cryptographically tokenise personal information, helping them protect from cyber attacks, and provide GDPR compliance to their customers.
