The Elevator Pitch Series
We covered YPlan back in January, just after their high profile launch. YPlan attempts to solve that age old problem of arranging a night out with friends at short notice. It’s currently available as an iPhone app with plans to expand to Android this summer.
The app connects you to last minute ticket deals for events across the city and simplifies the booking and payment system down to just two taps on your smartphone.
Latest developments
YPlan now has over 150,000 users in London (8% of all iPhones in the city) in just four months of operation.
The team has grown to almost 20 people, including recruits from Time Out, Songkick, GetTaxi and See Tickets.
