We are pleased to announce that, due to the large volume of submissions, we’ve extended the application deadline for this year’s Elevator Pitch competition to 7th April.
Finalists in previous Elevator Pitch series have included Hassle.com, YPlan and import.io, with alumni going on to raise more than $60m in the past two years.
Why you should apply
The Elevator Pitch competition will teach startups to promote their company in the most concise and effective way.
It will also give participants the opportunity to meet our expert panel of judges with finalists going on to secure extensive coverage on Tech City News.
You’ll get your pitch professionally filmed, giving you a useful tool to share with PRs, journalists, customers and even potential investors.
Take a look at last year’s finalist Rotageek’s pitch to give you an idea of what the end product may look like.
What you can expect
Previous series have seen finalists pitch from a glass elevator in Heron Tower, the back of a speed boat, the top of a skyscrapper, the back of a Hailo and even, on a rickshaw.
Finalists will be invited to attend an awards ceremony where they’ll be within the chance of winning a series of accolades, including Pitch of the Year or Most Disruptive Startup.
To apply, fill out this form. The closing date for applications is now midnight on Thursday 7th April.
